Monitoring solutions

Bridge & Tunnel Structural Monitoring

Combine continuous deformation, local tilt and vibration, and crack displacement through bridge and tunnel construction and operation.

Bridge & Tunnel Structural Monitoring
Application context · project-specific design is required

Monitoring Objective

Bridges and tunnels experience gradual geometric change together with dynamic effects from construction, traffic and the environment. Separate whole-structure movement from local response at critical details.

Monitoring Parameters

  • Tunnel convergence and longitudinal settlement
  • Pier, bearing and member tilt
  • Vibration frequency, amplitude and acceleration
  • Crack and expansion-joint movement

Typical Configuration

The RT-1010 tracks continuous deformation and tunnel convergence, while the RT-1030 measures local tilt and vibration together. The draw-wire RT-1060 covers longer movement; the compact rod-type RT-1080 suits cracks and expansion joints.

Deployment Considerations

Mounting brackets require a rigid connection to the monitored structure and protection from construction impact. Record sensor axes, initial readings and installation photographs consistently.

FAQ

Why measure tilt and vibration together?

Synchronized data separates gradual attitude change from short dynamic events and shows whether an angle change coincided with significant vibration.
