Benefits

Reliable measurements with fewer field connections

01

Choose the rainfall resolution for the task

Standard resolution is 0.2mm, with 0.1mm and 0.5mm options. Select the required configuration for the monitoring task. The rainfall intensity range is 0.01 to 4.0mm/min.

02

Battery power and wireless data reduce field wiring

A built-in 76Ah lithium thionyl chloride battery powers the device, with standard 4G Cat.1 communications and optional LoRa. Battery life: 5 years or more with 4G reporting once every hour. Average current is <0.22mA with a 1-hour reporting interval. No external solar panel or data cable is required. The device is secured with screws.

03

Stainless steel housing and ruby bearings

The device uses 304 stainless steel housing and ruby bearings. Measurement error remains within ±2% after 250,000 tipping cycles. Sealed construction supports long-term field deployment. The collector diameter is 20cm with a 45° rim angle.

04

Optional GPS links rainfall records to the monitoring location

Optional GPS positioning provides device coordinates to help associate rainfall records with their monitoring locations in the project platform. Select communications for the site network conditions.
