Hekoucun Reservoir is located at the outlet of the Qin River canyon near Jiyuan, Henan. The project installed a 138m RT-1010D shape array from the dam crest together with 23 layered-settlement units.
Sensor segments were assembled on site and lowered gradually with a support frame. The same borehole returned horizontal displacement, layered settlement, angle and temperature, reducing duplicate drilling and installation work.
The field sequence covered delivery inspection, borehole checks, string assembly, lowering and orientation correction. After commissioning, the system provided continuing deformation and settlement measurements at multiple depths inside the dam.
